I am a crabosaurus lately. And today is no exception. Daylight Savings (Fall version), ALWAYS puts me in a funk. Every day I am going to blog the pit of my day and the peak of my day.
The pit will serve to remind me that things could always be worse. And the peak will remind me that every day has something great to offer.
Both todays pit and peak revolve around daylight savings.
The Pit: The sun setting by 5:00. Woof. I dread this because it means its getting colder, the days are getting shorter, and we are headed towards my least favorite season... winter. When it gets darker earlier, I have no desire to do anything productive beyond 4:00. I just want to hibernate. (Note to self: You are fortunate enough to have power, food, and warmth during this yearly transition. Don't be so selfish.)
The Peak: That extra hour. I don't think there is anyone I've ever met that doesn't get abnormally excited about gaining that extra hour. Whatever we choose to do with it; sleep, read, catch up on tv, etc. We all appreciated in a world where our time is getting more valuable having a whole hour just for ourselves!
